Code Collapse
Made for Week 180 of the Weekly Game Jam - Theme: Downgrade
Welcome to Code Collapse!
If you liked Fall of Bronze, you may well like this!
You have 200 turns to Downgrade a true Utopia, with a wonderful government, excellent quality of life, a rapidly-growing Population(which, by the way, is 100% literate), into a world where Humans have returned to their primitive ways, where writing is irrelevant and where death and struggle is rife.
Carefully decrease the Six Quantities of Corruption, Crime, Happiness, Literacy, Quality of Life and Government Competence in order to cause a full collapse of the Utopian world government!
And don't think it's going to be easy - the creator of this Utopia has left behind lots of edicts, laws and policies, and his Ministers, too, will do their part in keeping Humanity great.
Carefully use your Power to engage in Philanthropy and earn Connections, with which you can upgrade both the amount of Power you gain, but also the length and effectiveness of your more nefarious actions...
Since this is more complicated than even Fall of Bronze, here are some instruction pages for ya:
3. Starting Modifiers(+ some Lore)
4. The Ministers and the Contingencies
I suppose, though, the best way to gain experience is through practice, so do enjoy playing Code Collapse!
