Phase 2.3


Phase 2.3 is out. I can't say there's tons of content - I've been a bit busy with other things (plus a bit sick...). 

Nonetheless, here's the Changelog:

Graphical Changes:

  • Make Faction Points in Scenario Editor look the same as those controlled by Factions ingame (not drawing them in an ugly way over the Point Type)
  • In the different Editors, the Selectors for Factions, Maps, Scenarios and Rank Presets are different now
  • When you're looking for Custom Data, it is now always presented in Alphabetical order

Balance Changes:

  • When a Squad is in combat with another squad that dies, it no longer gains XP (this is to stop large swarms of squads, where only a few actually deal any damage, become overwhelmingly high-rank and even more unbeatable)
  • If a Base Point is disorganized, it will NOT automatically send squads (because it's disorganized, duh)

Backend Changes:

  • The way Custom Data is represented now is changed - it is loaded in at game start now, so expect higher loading times initially. However, once it's loaded, it doesn't have to be reloaded, so replaying the game will be faster.

Other Changes:

  • When selecting a Faction to delete, you're now informed that, if you delete a Faction, all Scenarios relying on the deleted Faction will break
  • When selecting a Map to delete, you're now informed that, if you delete a Map, all Scenarios relying on the deleted Map will break

Multiplayer will come when it's ready. Still working on some preparatory changes before that, so stay tuned  for updates!
